In the second quarter of 2022, the top five puzzle games in Africa showcased varied performance trends. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics.

June’s Journey: Hidden Objects experienced an upward trend with its weekly downloads peaking at around 29K in early May. The game maintained steady revenue, with weekly figures fluctuating between $6K and $11K. Active users saw a significant surge to approximately 253K in the week of May 9, before stabilizing around 233K by the end of June.

Angry Birds 2 from Rovio Entertainment Oyj displayed a decline in weekly downloads, dropping from around 30K at the start of April to about 17K by late June. Revenue also showed a downward trend, starting at $4.3K and ending at $3.6K. Active users decreased from approximately 177K to 145K over the quarter.

Elevate - Brain Training Games saw fluctuating download numbers, with a notable spike to 2.8K in late May. Weekly revenue was relatively stable, ranging from $2K to $3.7K. Active users peaked at around 13K in early May but declined to approximately 9.7K by late June.

Manor Matters had a significant increase in downloads in early May, reaching up to 7.6K. Revenue remained consistent, with weekly figures around $2K to $2.6K. Active users varied, peaking at 95.6K in early May and ending the quarter at approximately 83.7K.

Bubble Witch 3 Saga showed a decline in weekly downloads from around 20K in early April to about 5.3K by late June. Revenue decreased from $2.5K to $1.4K over the same period. Active users dropped from approximately 119K in early April to about 78.7K by the end of June.
